Founded in 1974, Alan Gaynor + Company provides full service architecture, interior design and planning services to a wide range of corporate, not-for-profit, commercial and medical clients.
Since 1979, Alan Gaynor, AIA has run the firm with co-principal Michele Boddewyn, AIA. In 2010, Ms. Boddewyn was named president of the firm, which was soon after certified as a Woman’s Business Enterprise.
Recently, Gaynor + Co. has worked on several projects for repeat clients – a source for much of its business – including the Weather Channel, the Starrett-Lehigh Building, and American Medical Alert. The firm has also handled major efforts for Weill Cornell University, The American Jewish Joint Distribution Council, and Riverside Orthopedics and Sports Medicine at Columbus Circle.
