40.22.ARCHITECTS is founded by Anastasia Papadopoulou ―architect with an MLA in
landscape architecture, PhD candidate at AUTh― and Vanessa Tsakalidou ―dr.
architect with a M.Arch in architectural design, adjunct lecturer teaching
architectural design and theory at AUTh and senior editor of KTIRIO
Architecture + Design. The studio is based in Thessaloniki, covering the fields of
architecture, design, landscape and art. Their research on theory and practice,
which focuses on the coexistence of opposites in architecture and the integration
of built and natural environment, has been presented in numerous exhibitions
and conferences, while gaining various competition awards.Works include public
buildings, office and housing projects, public spaces, interior design and art
installations.
