2020 architects have been designing buildings since 2000; however, their current success based on their sustainable modern designs only came with the recruitment of three highly regarded young designers and the now owners, Gareth Boyd, Michael Howe and Richard McKinney.
Now regarded as one of Northern Ireland’s leading sustainable Architectural Practices, 2020 are widely-respected for their striking designs which boast modern lines, whilst incorporating sustainable technology, futureproofing clients’ buildings.
Respected for their progressive designs, the Practice also writes for a leading Northern Ireland property supplement and the principal architects are ‘talking heads’ for all things architectural and renewables-focused that feature on the news agenda.
Taking their designs to a ‘grand’ level, the team at 2020 have been featured on Channel 4’s Grand Designs, following the design and build of partner, Michael Howe’s home.
