When the client and architect get us involved at the concept design stage, we begin by meeting with them to gain a full understanding of their vision while considering the potential constraints of the overall project. From this basis of knowledge, we take the architectural models and work with the client and architect to develop design concepts, including early 3D models and renderings, along with order of magnitude pricing. We use our engineering and detailing knowledge of timber to inform details and suggest cost-effective yet refined solutions to the team.

Once a design concept has been agreed upon, the idea is developed for more accurate costing. These documents are then used to define our scope of work which are reviewed and approved by the appropriate parties.
