As the highest-level performing arts landmark in the Central Plain Region of China, the new Zhengzhou Grand Theater by takes the motif of “a boat of art sailing on the Yellow River” as the central design concept. Through contemporary architectural languages, the design by the Architectural Design and Research Institute of HIT creates the image of a majestic “ship,” which conveys the significant culture and civilization of the Central Plain.
