See How Le Meridien Hotel’s Frontage Became a Landmark in Zhengzhou

Located at a busy crossroad in Zhengzhou City, China, Le Meridien Hotel recently refreshed its front landscape that spans about 6,000 square meters.

In a nod to Zhengzhou’s rich textile past, the new design features wavy lawn patterns, resembling how silk is woven on traditional machines.

The layout matches the hotel’s lobby pillars, making the outside and inside flow together. This design also smartly incorporates the parking area. A water feature with sculptures stands near the entrance, welcoming guests. Two shades of steel on planters highlight the hotel’s mix of public and private spaces.

Since its makeover, the hotel area shines brighter. Now, it’s a popular spot for everything from friendly meet-ups to Instagram pics and wedding photoshoots.
