Envisioned by George Brown College, Limberlost Place will be a landmark addition to the waterfront campus, serving as a beacon for sustainable and green building innovation.

Constructed using nationally-sourced mass wood, it stands as Ontario’s premier tall wood structure, incorporating sustainable features like solar chimneys for natural convection. The structure’s versatile design includes classrooms, labs, and offices, all promoting wellbeing and accessibility to natural light, primarily benefitting the college community.

Situated in Toronto’s East Bayside Community, its pioneering design not only redefines architectural benchmarks but also contributes significantly to mass timber system research.
