This project located in Nansha, Guangzhou, and there had unique Cantonese water town scenery and fishing village culture, but with the development of the city, this scene has gradually disappeared. People are more and more eager to return to the life of the banana forest and tidal flats in the old days, yearning for a life close to nature. The designer extracted the culture of the fishing town, found the memory of the town, returned to the simple and natural design, and reshaped the old scene of the water town. The lighting system combines fishing nets, fish lamps, ancient lanterns and other shapes to create a retro and elegant atmosphere. Many cultural elements such as Chinese ink painting and silk are integrated into the space to express excellent Chinese culture and advocate a simple, elegant and pure lifestyle. This project aims to recreate a space with an ancient rhyme , where people can return to a slow life and enjoy the gift of nature.

As the "only coastal area" in Guangzhou, Nansha was born next to the water, and has always been known as the most primitive Lingnan water town. It used to be the starting point of the Maritime Silk Road, with graceful fragrant silk flying in the sky, and beautiful reeds swaying on the river. On the night when the moon is sparsely starred, fishermen step on the cool moonlight and return from the sea. With the development of the city, this scene has gradually disappeared. People are more and more eager to return to the life of the banana forest and tidal flats in the old days, yearning for a life close to nature. This project aims to recreate a space with an ancient rhyme , where people can return to a slow life and enjoy the gift of nature.
