The Owner's desire was to create a world-class headquarters facility with the building as iconic statement for the firm's brand. As a progressive company, the new facility capitalizes on the latest technologies and environmental planning concepts allowing for more efficient and functional environments. In addition to serving the needs of the company, the owner intends for it to be a community asset that will play host to community meetings.

The building is a sleek, sculptured celebration of 21st Century materiality. The buildings angled and sloped envelope changes as one travels around the building. The play of sunlight on the building's aluminum skin is reflected both inward and outward to allow an artful expression of the building's textured surface.

A large, sunlight filled atrium is the heart of the building, surrounded and overlooked by offices. This atrium is to be a central gathering place to build staff camaraderie as well as to hold large office and community meetings. Tiered amphitheater seating connecting the two floors is a major element of this indoor space.

Sustainable feature are included inside and out. Systems are specified to be highly efficient and a wide variety of regional and recycled materials will be utilized. Natural daylight will be maximized and lighting efficiently controlled.
