Across all of its product lines, Miele showcases material perfection and manufacturing precision of the highest quality. As a result, it is no surprise that architects have been specifying Miele products for decades, in order to bring their striking kitchen dreams to life. “Miele is the only manufacturer that offers a unified look across product categories, making it easy for architects and designers to specify a complete kitchen suite,” said Dirk Sappok, Director of Product Development at Miele.
“Miele kitchen appliances are developed and manufactured in Germany with an importance on quality assurance,” Sappok said. “Miele develops all of its own electronics and designs, ensuring that it will continue to be useful, intuitive and match any kitchen for the life of the product. Additionally, Miele tests all of its products in order to last 20 years, with proper use and care.”
In order to fully utilize every amazing detail of Miele’s kitchen products, we’ve gathered a few tips that will guide you in incorporating these sleek kitchen products into your next design.
Find a Range That Fits Like a Glove
A kitchen range is undoubtedly the heart of any home, where all of the culinary magic happens. According to Miele, “Your culinary adventures are truly limitless with Miele’s Range series.” One of the first aspects that you will want to consider is size — that way, you can ensure that your range will fit like a glove, and slide into your surrounding cabinetry and kitchen design.
Miele offers 30-inch, 36-inch and 48-inch ranges and rangetops; the features associated with each size will depend on the model that you select. Miele’s 48-inch Range, for example, includes a fully functional M Touch Speed Oven, M Touch Convection Oven and a Push-to-Open Warming Drawer. With each size, there is a selection of power configurations: Dual Fuel, All Gas, Electric and Induction. No matter which model you select, you can complement your design with a custom Miele Range Hood or Range Hood Insert.
Incorporate a Barely-There Dishwasher
The perfect solution for your clients’ dishwashing demands, Miele dishwashers are available in different widths, and are equipped with state-of-the-art technology that optimize user experience and efficiency, without compromising aesthetics. For example, Miele’s Knock2open (K2o) technology turns dishwashing into a magical experience while delivering the perfect solution for handle-free kitchen designs. Once the user knocks twice on the front panel of Miele’s K2o dishwashers, the door automatically opens about 4-inches, facilitating easy-access without the use of a handle.
Some exciting design options that are well-worth investigating include Miele’s built-in dishwasher models. These are available in three different types — prefinished, integrated and fully integrated dishwashers. Any one of these options will allow you to create “optimum convenience and perfect design harmony in your kitchen,” according to Sappok.
Pre-finished models are an ideal replacement appliance in already-existing kitchens, and are available in several finishes, including White, Black and CleanTouchSteel. Although pre-finished models will not allow you to completely camouflage your dishwasher into the surrounding cabinetry, they will allow you to create a sleek and seamless design without delving too far into customization. Going one step further, Miele’s integrated dishwashers allow full access to its control panel and the ability to incorporate a matching cabinet to the lower three-quarters. Finally, Miele’s fully integrated dishwashers are completely concealed, often masked behind cabinetry.
Keep It Cool With a Customizable Refrigerator
Miele offers a flexible range of refrigerators that are as individual as you and your daily needs. Not only are Miele refrigeration appliances excellent in terms of their scope, quality and premium performance, but they are also known for being extremely versatile. “For instance, you can combine two refrigerators next to each other, or have a classical combination of side-by-side refrigerator and freezer,” said Sappok. Built-in appliances can range anywhere from 24-inches to 36-inches in width, making it easy to integrate a Miele refrigerator into any design — big or small.
“Miele has been well received by architects and consumers. With Miele, architects understand that they are specifying premium products that are manufactured by an established and quality German-based company and built to last 20 years,” said Sappok. “Miele designs for life. We will continue to develop products to make our clients’ lives easier.”
