Currently accepting submissions through November 20, the 1st Annual A+Firm Awards is an international awards program designed to celebrate ALL teams that make the world’s best architecture a reality — including interior designers. While we appreciate the amazing work that architects do and celebrate their projects each year through the A+Awards, we believe it is vital that ALL collaborators are recognized for the crucial role they play in creating exemplary buildings.
If you are part of a talented team of interior designers, submit your firm for what promises to be one of the most distinguished accolades in the global AEC industry:
The A+Firm Awards for interior designers can be found within the Typology Categories, and are divided into 3 categories: Residential, Commercial, and Cultural/Institutional. These awards are open to interior designers and multidisciplinary architecture firms demonstrating excellence in interior design, and submitted projects can range from the restoration of old spaces to newly constructed, contemporary interiors.
Interior designers should submit 3 to 6 projects in their relevant typology, with at least 3 projects completed (built) in the last 10 years. Projects can be at any scale, and from any region.

Get Your Submission Prepared
To help you prepare your submission, here is a list of materials and information you’ll need to complete the entry process:
- Firm Name
- Firm Location (city and country)
- Firm URL
- Firm Description / Mission
You are invited to submit 3 to 6 projects for each Award Category. For each project, we’ll ask for the following information:
- Project Title
- Project Year and Location
- Project Status (Built or Unbuilt)
- Entry Description (300 words)
- Collaboration credits — use this section to name the lead architect and any other relevant parties that helped bring the project to fruition.
- Upload 1-8 images for each project (Images: 20MB max each; jpg, jpeg, png or pdf format; single images only, no collages.)
For interior designers, select Typology Awards and then one of the Interior Design categories (Residential, Commercial or Cultural/Institutional). If you have projects across multiple typologies, you are welcome to submit for all of these!
