Ark Shelters, enduring wooden cabins for luxury camping, embody the philosophy of mobile architecture. They provide a minimalist setting for users to connect with nature in any location around the world. One cabin can be prefabricated and delivered anywhere in one piece — completely furnished and finished — for $59,000, according to real-estate-listing site Brick & Wonder.

The shelters are designed as narrow, wooden constructions with folded-in sides that enhance the building’s relationship with the surrounding landscape. Floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding harmonic glass doors open the space up to natural light and stunning views. The zero-impact cabin becomes an extension of nature itself.

The façade features wooden plates coated in black oil paint. The bed is set comfortably at one end of the cabin against a massive glass plate, allowing campers to sleep under the stars and awaken to direct sun.

The interior includes a fireplace, table and chairs with black leather tops and a full-service kitchen. The furnishings are crafted uniquely with the same wood as used on the walls, floor and ceiling. A timber-plated terrace can open up into the landscape, as well, allowing maximum circulation of air throughout the structure.

Clients can buy a shelter and transport it from place to place thanks to the easy mobility of its components. Ark Shelter provides everything from utensils to firewood and bed linen so that users are fully equipped for the ultimate camping experience.
