Shelf-Life began as an exploration of densification through reclaiming existing architecture; not to be misunderstood with historical preservation, but rather the exploitation of existing values with a parasitic-like annex. This investigation of reclaiming existing architecture is a response to a context that is defined by the relationships that are directly and indirectly correlated to the site. As an interaction, not only at a human scale, but largely the building interacting with the environment and becoming a response to its own existing identities.
