In a world where spaces that are increasingly versatile are needed, we faced a different challenge. A project that had to meet certain requirements in one of the most important shopping centers in Mexico City. It had to be an original and fresh "pop up" without leaving behind the essence of the brand.
The project is based on a single module that can be interconnected, adapted, and replicated. It is not only visually appealing, but it also offers different facades, giving it versatility from any angle.
Inspired by linear elements, floating objects, and the intersection of these, we manufactured and installed stainless steel structures designed and supervised by our studio. This allowed us to make each process tangible, from the selection of steel to the artisanal work of the master turner when molding the joints.
Steel was the main material due to its strength, flexibility, versatility, and elegance. To complement it, different types of lighting were installed to highlight the exhibited product and generate the desired experience.
An infinite mirror effect was materialized in the enclosure, illuminated by a neon sign and an acrylic engraving. This attracts the attention of passersby. It is a kind of reception and welcome to the project, which opens up along its length like a curtain that subtly hints at the brand.
Light boxes with independent electrical power are combined with reflective elements to give the product more character and blend it into the same architecture. That is, they become part of the space and, at the same time, function as the main shoe rack.
Finally, it was resolved with warm light strips fixed to the main structure, emphasizing the vertices of the project. The result is a space that complements itself with each of its elements.
