The project is organized through the creation of an
excavation that becomes a space in which the battle of Maida is told. It can be
understood as a small open air museum. The excavation represents the trenches
warfare and as the magnolia trees bloom in June –July (the months in which the
battle took place) they will continue each year to commemorate the historical
event.
