A GEOMETRICAL ORDER IN A NATURAL ORDER:
It begins with a
process of searching new forms of expression starting with the usage of meshes
and nets as a method to incorporate the architectonic project into the
landscape.
This experiment
takes shape along the principal avenue of a residencial area on some golf camps
of Port Aventura.
We worked with
three purposes: the first one was to get a projectual dash for the given site
and supply its own patterns in order to make use of its morphological, topographical
and topological conditions for the creation of the new landscape. The second
one had to take into consideration the structure of the new garden that should
contain mediterranean flowers. Finally, the geometrical design had to be
justified by the urban norms of accessing the site, as these have not been
considerated by the urban project. Therefore, talking about such a complex
area, it was a geometrical challange.
This variable and
irregular geometrical order solved
diferent problems, such as:
-
Rationalizing all the hidden structural meshes,
drainages, irrigations and the rest of the garden information.
-
Endowing the territory with hierarchical ways to reach
direct or secundary itineraries and to be compatible with the accesibility
norms.
-
Supplying the
territory with an order that this could distribute all kinds of plants and
flowers.
Our purpose was
to set up triangular meshes on the territory that should adapt to all the
changes of the project, decreising or growing on the surface, but respecting at
the same time the topography of the zone.
