The goal of
this project is to explain that simplicity is not a simplification or reduction
of something which is complex or redundant, and to explain that design process
should start by finding natural simplicity. We explore the redundancy as an
element of an architectural form which will emphasize the thing from which it
should have been discarded in order to become a simulation of simplicity by
using reduction as a principle. The result is an open sea as a natural
simplicity; locations (sea, shore, hill), programs (wellness, spa, floating)
(Japan); and, as inspiration to feel peace and the essence of architectural
objects.
