Xavier Vancells Arquitectura XVA (est. 2006) is a practicing contemporary architecture and design office based in Barcelona.
XVA's work includes a wide range of scales from small to urban scale. The office is composed by a team of six architects working in close collaboration with external expert consultants.
XVA's recently completed projects include the New ATHC Clubhouse (2009), the Huarte Art Center in Navarra (2007) and the Sant Cugat City Hall in Barcelona (2007).
The work of Xavier Vancells has received several awards and has been recently exhibited in in the Cité de l'Architecture & du Patrimoine in Paris (2009), the ArchitekturZentrum in Vienna (2009), and in the Deutsches ArchitekturMuseum in Frankfurt (2007).
