Michael holds a Bachelors of Architecture Degree from Syracuse University (Magna Cum Laude) During his time there, he was awarded the prestigious citation for "Excellence in Thesis Design" from the School of Architecture.
He has worked on a wide spectrum of projects that showcase his interest in contemporary design, historic preservation, and sustainability. He has entered a number of design competitions to further refine his comprehension of the built environment.
In addition to his direct contributions at Young + Wright Architectural, Michael has served on the Family Selection Committee on behalf of Habitat for Humanity Buffalo and is currently a Director for the Buffalo/WNY Chapter of the AIA and Co-Chair of the Emerging Professionals Committee.
As a LEED® AP BD+C, Michael also actively pursues his interest in sustainable design and technologies. He has spoken at the University of Buffalo on these topics and has been a guest design critic at the University's School of Architecture & Planning.
