The place
for carrying out of the seventh architectural festival
TOWNS was the most mysterious and
romantic place at Crimea coast - the deserted peninsula near Koktebel
town.
Once there was the confidential naval base on testing of underwater
torpedoes, and in the future is planned to build a
Town-myth, a Town-legend,
similar to fantastic dream of ancient Greeks who came here more then
3000 years
ago!The primary goal of the festival was creation of an image and an atmosphere of the future
Town. As probable themes was supposed:
- STREET of TWO SEAS - the central axis of the city
- The CENTRAL SQUARE - as the city market, theater and a temple
- HARBOUR
- QUAY
- LIGHTHOUSES- CITY BUILDINGS -
a library, a grammar school, a bakery, a tavern,
a fisherman house and so on.
- ENTRANCE GATE (a triumphal arch)
