Project note– Triveni House
Triveni House is a 12,500 sq. ft. refurbishment in Jalgaon, Maharashtra, that reimagines three independent bungalows into a single contemporary residence for three brothers and their families. The design balances individuality with togetherness, weaving private domains with shared courtyards and living spaces.
At the heart of the home is a striking double-height central courtyard that acts as both the symbolic and functional core, bringing natural light, air, and a sense of grandeur into the interiors. Around it unfold formal and informal lounges, dining zones, pooja rooms, and guest suites, while the upper floor houses private bedrooms, lounges, and a dedicated home theater.
Materiality plays a vital role in unifying the three homes into one: polished Italian marble with intricate inlays, warm teakwood finishes, brass detailing, and bespoke furniture establish an atmosphere of understated opulence. Landscaped courts soften the built fabric, creating visual continuity between indoors and outdoors.
Through bold structural interventions and meticulous detailing, Triveni House transforms fragmented structures into a cohesive architectural narrative—one that celebrates modern luxury while honoring the bonds of joint family living.
