We as visualizers believe in cognitive powers of an eyesight, a sense that allows us to explore world profoundly and separate real world from fantastic. What if the surrendering to the diktat of the sense of sight cuts us off from rest of sensations?
Only by opening eyes and ears enables to hear invisible and to see inaudible. Sound is one way of expressing our emotions, needs and worries. Through sounds we can also refer to pictures inscribed in memory.
Since XXth century sound became on of mediums of art. Current variety of works of sound artists as well as unlimited possibilities of it, causes that desire of locking Sound Art in typical exhibition space is impossible.
Architecture is for human the experience of the object. an exact point in space. Encountering it, means discovering it, analysing it. In our memory we have inscribed sequences of pictures connected with space and places. Thus architecture can be defined by haptic encounters that will determined its genius loci. Human not only SEE proportions, but also hear them, not only SEE materials but also fell their texture and temperature.
The aim of the design was to create a space that will be changeable music box, a space that trigger in the decayed inner city blocks a healthy development of urban fabric, simultaneously preserving local character – not only visible one.
It is design on the edge of art, architecture and urbanism, it is design about human.
