The demand of social and religious activity for moslem residents encourage local community to build this building in such a tight space. Planned as a social&cultural community facility for the locals this building ha 2 stories where as the 1st fl function as a public space for social and cultural activity and the 2nd floor for praying area and also islamic library.
The library located along the staircase area whereas the readers can use the stair as a seating area.
This Mosque aim for minimal energy use and also minimize service cost by using natural resources and energy.
The use of 100% natural light during the day without compromise to the sun heat become a challange in the design process.
Collecting rainwater and re-use it while using gravity methods for water distribution also contributed in saving maintanance cost.
