Milan, March 23, 2023: The prestigious Mondadori Duomo bookstore unveiled its new location, an architectural gem in the heart of the city. To ensure an optimal reading experience and contribute to a more comfortable environment for customers and staff, BrixiaTech was chosen to create an innovative, custom-made installation.
The challenge at Mondadori Duomo: The bookstore's south-facing glass wall, exposed to direct sunlight, created an excessively bright and hot interior environment, compromising visitor comfort and the preservation of furnishings.
The BrixiaTech solution for Mondadori Duomo: We installed a "Premium" PDLC polarizing film on a surface of over 7 square meters. This cutting-edge technology offers numerous advantages:
Soft, comfortable light: The film filters sunlight, eliminating glare and creating a relaxing atmosphere ideal for reading.
UV and IR protection: Ultraviolet and infrared rays, harmful to books and uncomfortable for the eyes, are effectively blocked, as demonstrated at Mondadori Duomo.
