As to our opinion, the facade reconstruction and changing of the appearance of the building should not be the “born of child of epoc”. We suggest to our generation to stop for a moment, to take a breath and gain time. Try and remember how the appearance and importance of this place have been changed with the changes in the society. The chain of events was: close to the White-city gates Strastnoy Nannery, Atheist USSR Museum, invaluable architectural monument demolition, the symbol of Soviet mass-culture, chief Soviet cinema construction on the disruption of the monastery. Felling deeply this tragic history we felt the overwhelming desire to terminate the endlessness of global transformations.
