To allow the road level communication and public movement through the structure the envelope of the building is distorted. The distortion is organic intentionally, giving the people the first impression of the nearby park.To assure physical continuity of the urban structurethe envelope of the building is aligned with the existing urban context. The alignment is done through a projection screen that is not only used as physical continuity of the existing urban context but also as a virtual projection of the building functional content. The screening is interactive. It not only serves as advertaising for the cinema but also as a real time media for eventual events taking place within the urban context. Retro-projection and cameras are used to make possible real time display of the events.
