Changing
the face – Pushkinsky cinema.
“Cinema-Theater”

The concept
of this project was the idea, put in the architectural appearance of the
existing cinema building Pushkinsky. Namely, a literal reading of the Russian
word "cinema» (kinoteatr) as a movie theater (Cinema-Theater).
This move
is quite justified, because existing monumental appearance of the building
already contains everything you need, just need to highlight and reinforce the
dignity to update the facade, giving it a contemporary sound.
The side
walls of the building turned into a curtain, and the central part - in a scene,
stage, if you want, where are some
exciting action. The building is not just an ordinary movie theater, albeit a
central but a center of cultural life.
Theme of
movie in the external appearance of the building emphasizes the light glass
fencing, made in the form of films, as well as the peak, which is proposed to
make a living trailer, add some LED screens showing the trailers going to the
cinema films, and information about other cultural events taking place here.
An
important advantage of the Pushkinsky Theater is its location in one of the
most beautiful and loved by all the central squares of Moscow. Wrought iron
lamps of classical forms placed on the facade give a modern cinema building a
light touch of antiquity, uniting the full range of architectural forms in the
area to a single ensemble.
Applied
Materials.
The relief
of the curtain is scheduled to perform of reinforced foam polystyrene elements
with self-cleaning coating with the use of cutting technology of machine tool.
The central
and lower part of the building are made of architectural glass Dupont.
Lamps -
Metal Art, Glass.
Fencing -
tempered glass with symbols of film made
with the matting technology or otherwise.
