For this award-winning project, we designed an appropriate and sensitive building entrance with planters, an updated marquee, and an accessible ramp concealed behind a low wall. Our design was inspired by the building’s mid-20th century heritage; using the original building elements as cues, aluminum cladding was stripped off the marquee and replaced with stainless steel panels in brushed and sandblasted finishes. Theater-style lighting accentuates the entry and creates an elegant arrival to the building. Granite, tinted concrete, refurbished entry doors, and stainless steel railings complete the project.
