Support for students during the coronavirus pandemic. You are not alone!
Nowadays, many students face personal, professional, and financial problems as a result of circumstances beyond their control. How can you get through this difficult time? The university authorities offer several support mechanisms.
Thanks to the urgent introduction of changes to the Charter on preferential benefits for students, the fund of one-time benefits will be increased, and students will also be able to apply for benefits due to loss of income due to the epidemic situation (details will be provided by the Scholarship Department). Each student can receive an allowance once a semester. For international students who cannot take advantage of the scholarship fund provided to the university by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, University will create a fund from its own resources.
Additional deadline for applying for a social scholarship.
The social scholarship will be available for students whose financial situation has deteriorated significantly and the monthly income per family member does not exceed $ 3000. The additional submission deadline is announced for May 2021, and depending on the subsidy provided by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education for 2021, the university will try to pay out scholarships as early as the end of May. Scholarships for the 2020/21 summer semester will be decided around April 20 with payments scheduled for April 25. This is due to the dates of receipt of funds from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
