0-10 Years Old
Born in Clusone, Italy, and prematurely fascinated by buildings under construction, digs, and scaffoldings, young Roberto ventures leaving his first footprints directly on construction-site grounds. From there, designing his first soccer field was just the next natural step.

Given his natural talent for graphic arts, he chooses to pursue an artistic education. Fascinated by the great Renaissance masters and inspired by their discipline and zeal, he emulates them, practicing both freehand drawing and architectural design. Upon some of his mentors’ recommendation, Roberto applies and is successfully admitted to the Politecnico University of Milan, majoring in Architectural Studies.

Roberto takes advantage of his university years to gradually discover the charming complexity that guides all creative processes. Once graduated, he starts his career at Studio SCW in Piacenza, where he begins approaching not only architectural planning and design but also graphics and communications.

Along with some architects and other professional designers, Roberto founds Bamboo, a multidisciplinary studio dealing with the planning and realization of architecture, design, on- and offline communication, and integrating them all.
In 2013, the studio takes part in the Ventura Lambrate Design District of Milan’s Fuorisalone along with oPLA!, a project aiming at extending cradle-to-cradle concepts to the furniture field.

He chooses to be part of a co-working, surrounded by a community of innovative entrepreneurs, start-uppers, and creative minds, with a variety of backgrounds, and coming from different personal and professional paths.
