The 5th Oslo Architecture Triennale will take place in the autumn of 2013. The ambition is to develop the OAT to become the Nordic countries´ most important venue for debate and dissemination of architecture and urban challenges.The OAT festival is a platform for the discussion of issues in contemporary architecture and urbanism at local, regional and global levels. Through different formats and media including exhibitions, conferences, debates, competitions, publications and events, the Oslo Architecture Triennale acts as a meeting place between the field of architecture and the public.OAT is an open forum for debate and reflection amongst practitioners, experts, politicians, decision makers, the users of architecture and the inhabitants of the city. Exploring alternative and interdisciplinary architectural practices, OAT aims to engage new groups and diverse audiences in its investigations of architecture’s role and relevance in the development of a sustainable future.
