[f]FLAT Architectures research group, is a partnership between Practice, Research and Academia, focusing into transdisciplinary architectural and media art works. Their projects have been awarded, exhibited and published in multiple international programs and stages. This course of events provided the ground to develop works with the emphasis in experimental methodologies and techniques in media art and architecture. The ongoing research aims to test the new design methodologies, in which, computational design generates spatial hybrid artifacts by solving its conditions. Hence the usage of computational tools, based in physics and biological systems in order to transfer the research and practice, without bypassing the intensive design structure.
