EDGE was established in 1993, and since then was able to occupy a significant location amongst Architectural Firms in the region for the qualities that it possesses and the highly qualified team of engineers and consultants under the supervision of the Director of the group, Arch. Khaled Zabalawi.
In June 1, 2005, the firm merged its works and employees with BAHA Consultant Engineers, and started working as one since then and until June, 2013, which was when Arch. Khaled Zabalawi decided to re-operate Environmental Design Group as an independent firm.
Today, EDGE holds a number of the most talented engineers and architects, in addition to distinctive consultants from different disciplines.
EDGE has worked with many governmental and non-governmental organizations such as the World Bank, Agence Français de Développement, the Jordanian Ministry of Municipal Affairs (MOMA), and the City and Villages Development Bank (CVDB) in conducting many studies in different disciplines such as Environmental Impact Assesment Studies (EIA), Social Impact Assessment Studies (SIA), Financial Studies, and Technical Studies.
