“The project is located in Huangpu District, Shanghai. As a public rental housing plot in the downtown area, the project is representative. In terms of future sustainability, it has achieved effective integration and unification with the surrounding environment, and its functions can also meet the domestic requirements for future public rental housing.

Therefore, it is listed as “”Shanghai Municipal Public Rental Housing Demonstration Project”” and “”Municipal Professional Research Project””.
The project mainly focuses on public rental housing. In addition, Huangpu District public rental housing man-agement center, emergency center and other management housing and commercial service facilities are set up, and an additional 150 social parking spaces are required.

The project was approved in 2011 and finally complet-ed nine years later. Won the “”Design Innovation”” award in the “”My Favorite Affordable Housing”” design selection organized by the Shanghai Large-scale Residential Community Construction Promotion Office and undertaken by the Shanghai Survey and Design Industry Association.
The main innovative concepts are as follows: low-rise and high-density, enclosed layout, mixed-function layout, multi-level greening layout, open community makes the landscape greening shared, and a clean and neat urban interface.”.
