Text description provided by the architects.

The cabin has been given a contemporary feel with an architecture that reflects the site’s character, a natural response to the terrain and location.
It is used tough building materials such as glass, zinc, concrete and untreated wood in combination with the use of local slate / drywall to blend the building in to its landscape.

Large glass surfaces dissolve the distinction between inside and outside and are secluded with cornices where columns and horizontal slats damper the impression of the glass surfaces from the sea.
The lodge is made to adapt the site’s topography as far as possible with a carefully considered architecture that helps exciting contrasts to the neighbourhood of cabins in general.
