Text description provided by the architects.

At the heart of the 96,000 SF facility sits an impressive 1,100-seat performance hall, with the flexibility to accommodate symphony, opera, drama, dance, amplified music and more, providing countless opportunities for both student performances and outside touring groups.
Down the hall sits a 3,000 SF multi-use rehearsal and warm up room, as well as a flexible 250-seat courtyard theater, which serves the university’s drama department.

The center’s expansive glass edifice, grand lobby, and the natural light pouring into the courtyard theatre, scene shop, and costume shop, was at heart a very carefully-planned and cost-effective design.
The design team worked intensively to create a beautiful, modern building that was not only built efficiently, but functionally flawless.
