Located within the heart of the University District, AVA U District aims to strengthen community interactions by increasing the opportunities for pedestrians to move around the site, stitching together a little used portion of the district with more vibrant areas.
AVA-branded communities are targeted at urbanites looking for a sense of community.

AVA U District is heavily influenced by the U District’s culture.
The design complements the history of art, color and detail found in the U District and thereby adding to the rich environment that enhances the human experience.
The two-phased community introduces new movement patterns through the site which are enhanced by a central gathering area, cross-site circulation and activation of the alley which work together to create a stronger sense of neighborhood connection
