Top Picks From Heimtextil 2017: Upholstery, Wallcoverings and Carpet

Jacqueline Park

We pick up here from last week’s coverage of Heimtextil with a recap of our top picks from the show. Overall it was great exposure to established manufacturers abroad that are starting to gain traction in the United States and a deeper look at how more tactile surfaces such as upholstery, wallcoverings and carpet can really make a statement in a space.

A standout in their contract-grade upholstery line is ARC, a three-dimensional wool fabric that comes in 19 colorways, ranging from deep jewel tones to brighter, vibrant colors. ARC also coordinates well with FUSION and TONIC in the contract fabric line.

Dynamic Cork comes in five standard designs, and the up-to-2-by-3-foot panels can also be painted any color. The ability to create custom CNC-milled panels is an added bonus for designers.
