Panel Talk: A+Award-Winning Designers to Discuss the “Future of Architecture”

At the Future Now Symposium, Architizer will host a major discussion on the architecture and ideas of tomorrow.

Architizer Editors

Currently open for entries until April 23rd, Architizer’s A+Awards is the world’s largest and most democratic awards program for architecture, inviting esteemed juries alongside members of the general public to vote on submissions from across the world. The program acts as a barometer of contemporary design, revealing trends in public perception and priorities in relation to the built environment.

This makes the A+Awards and its winners a perfect topic for Aesthetica Magazine’s Future Now Symposium, a multidisciplinary four-day virtual event exploring the most pressing issues facing today’s creative industries. As part of the event, Paul Keskeys, Architizer’s Content Director, will introduce winners from the recent A+Awards for Firms to explore how successful design can impact and improve people’s lives.

The panel discussion, entitled “Architecture of the Future: Award-Winning Design”, will be live-streamed at 10:30am ET on Thursday, April 29th, 2021, and will be available online throughout the month of May. Purchase your pass now to secure your seat for the event:

The Future of Architecture

In what promises to be a lively panel discussion, we’ll hear unique perspectives from some of the world’s leading firms, including partners at Foster + Partners, MGA | Michael Green Architecture and MASS Design Group.

Each of these firms has played a key role in pioneering new approaches to both design and construction in recent years. Foster + Partners is a world leader in the development of exceptionally sustainable buildings, Michael Green Architecture is renowned for setting new precedents with cross laminated timber (CLT), and MASS Design Group has made its name delivering highly innovative humanitarian projects in developing nations.

The discussion will touch on numerous case studies designed by each firm, each of which reveals something about the direction in which architecture is heading — and how design could be harnessed to build a more resilient world in the years ahead.
