CID Awards Honors 10 Brilliant Projects at Coverings 2017

Sheila Kim

The most important ceramic tile and stone trade fair in the US, Coverings 2017 drew designers and architects last week to sunny Orlando, Florida, with showcases of the newest products and trends in both domestic and international design. And while the products are typically the stars of Coverings, a select group of design professionals attending the show stole the spotlight at the annual Coverings Installation & Design (CID) Awards, which recognizes stellar residential and commercial projects utilizing tile and stone in inventive and beautiful ways.

“The CID Awards program is distinct because it demonstrates how beautiful product, design artistry and a high level of technical skill come together to create spectacular architecture and design,” stated Jennifer Hoff, president of Taffy Event Strategies, who produces Coverings.

And the winners are…

RESIDENTIAL STONE: Art House, The Zajeski Project by CVG Architects (installed by Blue Pearl Stone)
