These forward-thinking photographers travel the world with their remote-controlled flying cameras and capture the world as only a small helicopter with advanced video skills can.
Drones get a bad rap in the press for their more nefarious talents, such as launching military air strikes in remote places, but they have become more and more common in architecture and urban photography. First-person view, as it is sometimes called, involves cameras mounted on an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) or radio-controlled aircraft.
