Architizer is proud to announce the winners of the 2026 A+Product Awards, honoring the building products, materials, lighting, furniture and technologies that are helping architects design with greater precision, purpose and imagination.

This season’s program arrived at a timely moment for the AEC industry. As architects continue to navigate urgent questions around sustainability, resilience, performance and material expression, the role of product design has never felt more consequential. Great architecture depends on great products, but the strongest entries this year went further: They revealed how craft is being redefined for a new era, bringing together technical innovation, environmental responsibility and a renewed respect for how things are made.

Redefining the Craft of Building Product Design

This year’s winners reflect a clear evolution in the building products industry. Across categories, jurors noted a move away from novelty for novelty’s sake and toward products rooted in real-world use and long-term value.

A+Product Awards Juror Alessandro Mangano, Partner at Architectural Engineering Consultants, noted: “There is a clear shift in how products are being designed, not just as objects, but as responses to real needs.” For Mangano, this year’s strongest submissions combined responsibility with material clarity: “There is a noticeable return to material honesty and craftsmanship, combined with current technologies. That mix of tradition and innovation feels very important today.”

That balance speaks directly to this season’s broader theme: Architecture’s New Era of Craft. In 2026, craft is not nostalgia. It is visible in the detail of a façade system, the adaptability of a furniture piece, the acoustic performance of an interior product, or the restraint of a technology that solves a complex problem with clarity.

Purposeful Innovation, Built to Last

The best products this season demonstrated how innovation can be most powerful when it feels focused. Jurors praised entries that resisted over-complication and instead delivered thoughtful, durable and adaptable solutions for contemporary life.

Juror Svetoslav Stanislavov, Founder and Lead Architect at STARH,  described the finalists as showing “a high level of design maturity, combining formal clarity, technical precision and strong relevance to contemporary life.” He added that “the most compelling entries were those where innovation was not expressive for its own sake, but purposeful, disciplined and deeply integrated into the product itself.”

This idea ran throughout the jury’s responses. The 2026 winners showed that a product’s impact depends not only on what it looks like, but how it performs and how well it supports architects in creating spaces that endure.

Products That Support Better Architecture

Another recurring theme was integration. Jurors were drawn to products that work as part of larger architectural systems, supporting not only the object itself but the broader spatial experience.

Juror Yuting Zhang, Principal and Design Director at Studio RE+N, noted that “this year’s submissions reflected a clear pivot toward integration and performance: products that combine acoustics, lighting, sustainability, and adaptability within a single system.” For architects, this kind of systemic thinking is invaluable, enabling them to specify products that contribute more meaningfully to the holistic performance, comfort and atmosphere of buildings.

Fellow juror Dichen Ding, Senior Architect at Andrea Steele Architecture, similarly highlighted entries that approached design with care and architectural intelligence, describing this year’s finalists and winners as demonstrating “thoughtful design and attention to detail.” Across building envelope technologies, furniture and finishes, Ding saw “a continued commitment to design quality, practical innovation and user experience.”

These observations underscore why the A+Product Awards matter. The program does not simply celebrate attractive objects; it recognizes the products that help architects solve problems and create genuinely better environments for people.

The A+Product List: A Resource for Specifying Architects

Every 2026 A+Product Awards winner will be featured in the next edition of the A+Product List, Architizer’s annual directory of world-class building product manufacturers. Published on Architizer.com and shared with millions of architects, designers and creative clients, the A+Product List has become an essential resource for firms seeking high-quality products to specify in future projects. Check out last year’s edition here.

For winning brands, inclusion in the List provides lasting visibility beyond the awards season — it places their products in front of the architects and designers who shape the built environment every day.

Congratulations to This Year’s Winners

Architizer extends its heartfelt congratulations to every Winner, Finalist, Special Mention and Entrant in the 2026 A+Product Awards. This year’s submissions revealed an industry moving with equal parts ambition, creativity and care.

As juror Gee-ghid Tse, Regional Design Lead at CRB Group, noted, “It was nice to see great innovations and the future of architectural products.” That future is already taking shape through the work of manufacturers who understand that products are not secondary to architecture — they are among its most vital ingredients.
