With the Final Entry Deadline for Architizer’s Vision Awards fast approaching, architects, designers and visual artists around the world are preparing their most ambitious work for submission. As always, entries will be evaluated by an international jury drawn from across the architecture and design industries, bringing together expertise from a wide range of disciplines.
Among this year’s jurors is a group of creative directors, visual storytellers, researchers and design communicators whose work extends far beyond traditional architectural practice. Through films, visualizations, exhibitions, AI-driven workflows, cultural research and strategic storytelling, they help shape how architectural ideas are presented, discussed and understood. Their perspectives reflect the growing importance of representation and communication in a field where the success of an idea often depends on how effectively it is shared.
Claudia Pasquero
Founder, ecoLogicStudio
Prof. Claudia Pasquero is a leading architect and researcher developing climate-active systems that merge biology, computation, and design. Her team is internationally recognized for pioneering work in photosynthetic architecture and synthetic landscapes, built environments that capture CO₂, purify air, and produce biomass while promoting urban wellbeing.
Through the research platform PhotoSynthetica™, a collaboration between ecoLogicStudio, the University of Innsbruck (UIBK), and University College London (UCL), she and her team have developed algae-based façades, canopies, and pavilions that function as living infrastructures, contributing directly to carbon sequestration and urban air purification. These projects, including installations at the Venice Architecture Biennale, COP26, and the Centre Pompidou, demonstrate architecture’s potential as a regenerative force.
Gilberto Bonelli
Co-founder and Creative Director, Diorama
Gilberto Bonelli is an architect with over 18 years of experience in innovative design. He is the co-founder and creative director of Diorama, a company dedicated to crafting immersive visual narratives for luxury, fashion and events. Specializing in interior and set design, scenography, and digital storytelling, he blends architectural expertise with cutting-edge visual techniques to create environments that captivate and inspire. His work spans fashion shows, flagship stores, luxury campaigns, and large-scale events, pushing the boundaries of creativity through hyper-realistic CGI, virtual productions, interactive 3D experiences and various innovative tools.
Through Diorama, he has collaborated with prestigious brands such as Dior, Gucci, Bulgari and Valentino, bringing their visions to life across both digital and physical spaces. Beyond visuals, his expertise extends to event conception and execution, designing everything from stage setups and lighting concepts to digital installations, ensuring a seamless alignment with each brand’s identity and audience experience.
Wanting to connect heritage with innovation while collaborating with local artisans and designers, in 2025 he created and is now the creative director of Amare Editions as well, a contemporary design brand rooted in Siena, Paris, and Sardinia. Alongside his creative work, he is also a mentor and lecturer, leading courses in Digital Fashion and Creative Direction at important design institutions such as LISAA Mode in Paris and LABA Academy of Fine Arts in Florence.
Karim Moussa
Filmmaker, Architect, Creative Director, Mozses
Karim Moussa is an architect, filmmaker and former international Taekwondo champion. With over 20 years of experience art directing internationally recognized projects, he has worked with several high-profile architectural practices, developers, brands and designers, including KPF, Zaha Hadid Architects, BIG, SOM and Woods Bagot.
Concept communication and the exploration of ideas define the core of Moussa’s work. Through the custom creation of visual directions, 3D animations and immersive experiences, he develops distinct design identities and connects narratives. His approach emphasizes the unique qualities of each project, ensuring that every one has a recognizable character of its own. His expertise in art directing projects across cultures and scales has been forged through years of dedication, experience and practice.
Moussa’s passion for filmmaking and expertise in 3D animation have led him to focus on combining storytelling, emotive visual experiences and virtual world-building. Through short films and animations, he creates immersive narratives that translate architectural ideas into compelling visual journeys.
Lauren Hood
Founder, Institute for AfroUrbanism; Assistant Professor of Practice, Taubman College at University of Michigan
Lauren Hood is a Detroit based urbanist, cultural researcher, and founder of the Institute for AfroUrbanism. Her work explores the intersection of design, consciousness, and spatial transformation, asking what conditions ignite human thriving.
An Assistant Professor of Practice at the University of Michigan’s Taubman College, she challenges conventional planning by centering memory, ancestral intelligence, and cultural coherence as essential design forces. She is the creator of the Black Thriving Index, a multi-city research initiative examining how environment and lived experience shape collective well-being.
Through garments, objects, and space, Hood approaches design as a language of intention: subtle, sovereign and future-facing.
Pedro Fernandes
Founder and Chief Creative Director, ARQUI 9
Pedro Fernandes is the Founder and Chief Creative Director of Arqui9 Visualization, a UK-based studio specializing in cinematic architectural imagery and films for global architectural practices, developers, and luxury brands.
Since founding the studio in 2014, Pedro has led Arqui9 in delivering high-end visual storytelling for projects around the world, collaborating with leading practices including Foster + Partners, Zaha Hadid Architects, Gensler, and developers such as Binghatti, as well as brands like Mercedes-Benz, Ferrari, and Bugatti.
Pedro’s work focuses on elevating architectural visualisation beyond technical representation. By blending influences from cinema, advertising, haute couture, automotive design, and product visualization, his team creates narrative-driven imagery and films that communicate the lifestyle, ambition, and identity behind major architectural developments.
Alongside his studio work, Pedro has contributed to the growth of the archviz community through educational initiatives, including launching one of the first architectural visualization YouTube channels to surpass 100,000 subscribers, helping inspire and educate a new generation of artists.
Today he continues to lead Arqui9’s international team in crafting emotionally driven visuals and films that help launch some of the world’s most ambitious architectural projects.
Rolando Cedeño de la Cruz
Founder and Architect, AIMETA STUDIO
Architect, AI design director, and founder of AIMETA Studio with over 20 years of experience in architecture, retail environments, exhibition design, and advanced visualization. Pioneer in integrating generative AI into architectural workflows, storytelling, and urban concepts.
International speaker, educator, and consultant in AI-driven design, collaborating with universities, technology companies, global brands, and leading architecture firms. His work explores the convergence of architecture, artificial intelligence, media, and future cities.
Alina Godunova
CEO, CUUB
Alina Godunova is the CEO of CUUB Studio, a global creative studio working at the intersection of architecture, real estate, and visual communication. She partners with developers, architects, and brands to shape how projects are understood, positioned, and brought to market, particularly at early stages of development. Alina’s visionary approach has set the stage for countless innovations.
Her career has been built on intentional reinvention, spanning industries, cultures, and creative disciplines in ways that sharpened her ability to read what resonates across markets. With experience across the Middle East, Europe, Australia, and the United States, her work focuses on translating complex architectural ideas into clear, culturally relevant narratives.
Alina is a regular speaker at global industry events, where she shares insights on creative strategy, cross-cultural communication, and the role of visual storytelling in architecture and development. She has also served as a juror for international competitions and awards, including the Archibest Observation Tower Competition, CAD’oro Architectural Animation Awards, and Evermotion Challenge.
Siarhei Kuratski
Art & Production Director, i d d q d Studio
Siarhei Kuratski is an architect and Production Director with a Master’s degree in Architecture and more than a decade of experience in architectural visualization and animation. At i d d q d Studio, he leads art direction and project management, overseeing complex visualization projects from concept to final delivery.
In addition to directing production, Kuratski plays a key role in building relationships with leading architecture and development firms, helping bring projects from some of the world’s most prominent design practices to the studio. He has represented i d d q d at major industry events, including the D2 Conference and World Visualization Festival (WVF), contributing to conversations around the future of architectural representation.
His work is defined by a deep understanding of how to translate architectural ideas into compelling images and animations that capture attention, communicate intent and leave a lasting impression.
Duy Phan
Senior Artist, Woods Bagot
Duy Phan is an architectural visualization artist based in Melbourne, Australia. He leads competition-focused CGI and visual storytelling for global design teams, helping translate complex design intent into clear, persuasive images and films.
