Your morning ritual may be currently lacking in the Tyrannosaurus rex department. Or you suffer from serious “Jurassic Park” nostalgia. Or, more likely, you look at the MakerBot 3D printer you bought over a year ago and simply ask yourself, “Why?” In any case, the solution to your particular malady is just a click away on the MakerBot Thingiverse. Earlier this year, MakerBot product manager Jonathan Schwartz uploaded the blueprints for a real bitchin’ t-rex skull to replace your existing mundane showerhead on the crowdsharing site, making it yours to download and extrude in the brightly colored ABS plastic of your choice.
Alternatively, he’s also shared a design for a swivel-ready vortex showerhead. Both look like a much fiercer way to start the day.
Big hat tip to Gizmodo for reminding us that there’s a reason that 3D printers exist.
