This is a wooden factory which is completed in Tama (the heart of mountain in Tokyo).The theme is 'to build by wood of this site in itself'.The laminated timber, which was seasoned and sawed up near this site, become the structure of this factory. The furring of the outside wall is also made of Tama timber.This factory was set up and built up also by local carpenters.Local production for local consumption.This factory in this way could be called 'Reborn forest in itself'.The amount of CO2 is fixed in the factory itself, and the environmental load is kept in the lowest level.This factory, which kept suiting in scenery even under construction, would melt in the forest more and more.You can feel the forest from inside and outside through this factory, and the ideal of recycling technology.
