The village of Vinary is one of the oldest parts of the town of Prerov, situated 2 miles north from the city center. The newly-built family house is located on a flat trapezoid site on the southern edge of the village. The location and ground plan of the house were fundamentally influenced by a gas line security zone in the southern part of the site requiring certain distances. The trapezoid form is also found in the height arrangement – the house is partly two-floor, with a distinctive lean roof; the compact volume of the house is cut through by an embedded wind porch to the north and a living terrace connected to the garden to the south. The disposition is four rooms with a kitchen nook; the first floor contains the main living space connected to the exterior terrace with a swimming pool and the parents’ bedroom, while the children’s bedrooms are on the upper floor. In the garden, there is a composition of two hillocks, one of which houses a sauna.
