A final residence for the elderly couple is located in the famous cold local city in migratory birds.
In order to avoid the flooding of the rivers flowing through the nearby, high lifted residence is shaped like migratory birds were flying down to expand the wings.
"Fukinuke", a two-story room sandwiched between the east and west wings, have created a center of the living space. Every day, the line-of-sight, sterically crossed through this "Fukinuke", stitches every rooms together, and brings attractive outside landscape to your everyday life.
Two balconies of the second floor bedrooms are guarded in deep eaves, so that the residents can go out and hang out the laundry without worrying about the weather at any time.
This balcony, bringing a pleasant ventilation in the entire house, provides a comfortable living and healthy to the residents.
