STATUS
Built
YEAR
2009
This 327,000-square-foot LEED Silver building contains 132 condominiums ranging from studios to five bedrooms, 52 below-grade parking spaces, and 45,000 square feet of retail space. The building consists of two towers – the north tower primarily facing Amsterdam Avenue and the south tower primarily facing West 76th Street. The 14-story north tower and 19-story south tower are connected by the residential lobby which is accessed from West 76th Street.

The first floor houses retail space, the residential lobby, and entrances to the parking garage and loading dock. The second floor is completely occupied by Equinox Fitness Club, whose entrance is located on Amsterdam Avenue. The fourth floor includes residential units, along with the residents' fitness lounge, children’s playroom, and party room.

The brick and sandstone facades are reminiscent of the legendary pre-war buildings that line the Upper West Side and the building's detailing is inspired by the Romanesque style. The facades are articulated with French balconies and colored friezes. At the top of both towers a series of distinctive faceted volumes open up into great rooms for some of the units.
