The future of healthcare in CALABARZON is about to change. The De La Salle University Medical Center will open a new, state-of-the-art facility – the Medical Arts Center. This new hospital building offers the most advanced health care services for the community today and for the future. The New De La Salle University Medical Center is about 31 kilometers, south of Manila. It is conveniently located in the bustling City of Dasmariñas in Cavite, in one of the fastest growing region in the Philippines today. The new facility offers more space, services and opportunities. It is a 12,516 square meter facility which features the six-storey Medical Arts Center. It is envisioned to provide a broad spectrum of medical specialties and state-of-the-art out-patient services in an ideal environment for carrying the highest level of patient care.
Patients and visitors will discover a welcoming and efficient layout. Spacious waiting areas with a grand piano, café and the Information are located here. The doctors' clinics and specialized out-patient services are accessible via a separate entrance at the left wing of the building of the ground floor. Also on the ground floor, essential hospital offices are located: such as, Business Services, Claims, Billing, Cashier and Admitting. These offices are accessible via a separate entrance on the right wing of the building on the ground floor, and connected to the old hospital buildings for accessibility. Situated on the second floor is the world-class facility of the Gastroenterology and Digestive Endoscopy Center and the Day Surgery Center which is a five-room operating center capable of performing minor surgical procedures for the out-patients. Patients who want to avail of their Health Maintenance Organization’s or HMO’s medical benefits will experience ease in processing of authorizations through the hospital’s own and operated HMO Concierge known as the Industrial Clinic located at the third level. The third floor is primarily dedicated to the hospital’s specialized services which includes the Eye Center, Hearing Center, EEG Laboratory, Diabetes Education Center, Immunization Center, Hemodialysis Center, proposed site of the Home Care Center and Integrated Wellness Program, and the two programs under the Industrial Clinic-Executive Check-up and Mobile Clinic On the fourth to the sixth floors are the new homes of the Lasallian doctors. At present, there are two hundred three (203) physicians who have reserved clinics at the Medical Arts Center. These clinics, thirty-two clinics per floor with a maximum of four (4) doctors per clinic, overlook the scenic landscaped campus of the De La Salle Health Sciences Institute. This new state-of-the art facility features wireless health care information technology and Electronic Health Records.
To further enhance the healing of the patient, the new hospital building is surrounded with beautiful lush landscaped gardens and a soon to be installed water fountain with sounds and lights in front of the new building.
