On the event of its 50th anniversary, Südpack held a company celebration with its employees, customers and business partners from the 25th till the 27th of September 2014. For this occasion we constructed the closed Quadro variant of the basic dimensions 18x21 and with a roofed over area of more than 2000m². The Quadro consists of 4 individual roods that may be joined together by way of an intermediate tarpaulin to form a large event hall. In this way a self-supporting room more than 35m in size with impressively dome-shaped roofed areas is created. Thanks to the curved design of the end and intermediate tarpaulins the tent may be shaped individually. In this way it is possible to create both partially open and completely closed rooms and equip them differently. From simple standard white side walls with zip-up doors to side walls with window foils and permanently built-in doors of aluminium and glass. In addition to the large main tent we also supplied a number of pagodas and kitchen tents and equipped all tents with cassette floors. In order that the guests should not have to freeze due to the low external temperatures we also supplied the appropriate tent heating systems.
“We would not have been able to achieve such a flair in any other event hall,” says the Managing Director Johannes Remmele. He explains why Südpack decided in favour of our somewhat unusual tent variant in the following words: “This tent is unusual. It is not what we are familiar with here in Southern Germany, nor is it that which has also achieved international fame due to the Munich Oktoberfest. When our customers come to SÜDPACK they are thinking of packaging. This is why we wanted the packaging of our anniversary celebrations to be something special.”
